About Me

About me

My name is Niels, currently a 2nd year Technical Game Designer Student at Bellecour Ecole in France.

I've been studying by myself game development since 2021 after 8 years doing Physics at Claude Bernard Lyon 1 University.
Before joining Bellecour, I started a self-employed activity to publish little projects, work as a freelance and selling few assets on the Unreal Marketplace. I'm planning to expand on other marketplaces when I will have the time.
Game development takes most of my free time, it has become my main hobby.

During my studies at Bellecour Ecole, I've experienced various role inside small teams such as Game Designer, Tech Artist, Light Artist, 3D Artist, 3D Animator, Programmer in visual scripting and C#, Level Designer.
I appreciate to work in various range of role as I like most of them, but I have a huge preference for the Lighting as it enhance a whole project to bring it to the next level.
